A Full Cup 30 day Challenge

I realize I am a little obsessed with contests right now...I just am little housebound with my newborn, so the computer is my outlet! I found a fun 30 day challenge though over at a full cup.

I have talked before about a full cup. It is the most comprehensive coupon search site I have found. They also have ads posted and forums with current deals. Right now they are having a 30 day challenge. Every day a new challenge will pop up (today's challenge is to "like" a full cup on facebook). Once you have completed that challenge, you go back and post a comment on that day's forum about it. You can participate in as many or as few challenges as you like. Each day one person will win a AFC tote bag and they will also give away 6 $50 Amazon gift card throughout the challenge. This is also a good way to introduce yourself to a full cup and how it works. Real Deals Contest!

Do you love Real Deals? I can hardly go in there because I want everything!! I also love that it is a business that was started by two stay at home mom's in Idaho and is now a huge chain! All You Finds!

I love All You magazine, well I was browsing their website today and came across some great finds!

1. Daily Free Samples, every week day in May, All You has another free sample to request. The best part is you can pick and choose the ones you want (and will use) all the way back to May 1! Remember samples often come with high value coupons!


2. I found the Grocery Challenge Info for 2010! This is a fun challenge to do. The winner will receive $1000 to put towards groceries and appear in the magazine and on TV. Basically you get $25/person to spend on groceries each week for 4 weeks. You log into a blog and share you experiences and creativity. I participated last year and it was a lot of fun! Last year, I was moving in the middle of it, so that threw off my game plan. Looks like this year, I will probably be moving in the middle of it too. :( Anyway, I am still going to try. It is great motivation to try and be creative and eat healthy while on a budget. Let me know if you plan on entering.

Store Secrets: Black Friday

It is almost here: Black Friday! I love this day, not because I love pushing people, crowds, and getting up at 4:00 am. It is more about a tradition of shopping and starting the holiday season. I am not a camp outer, I usually will make it to the stores about 8:00 am. I like to just spend the day with my girlfriends and sisters/mom (if I am that lucky) out shopping. I am only going to go to the stores in my town, which aren't many. Look tomorrow for the deals and some links to help you get started. Make sure you get a paper EARLY tomorrow so you can scan the ads during the football games. If you want a sneak peak, here are the scans of the ads for most stores.

*A little caution though, Black Friday is the KING of loss leaders. Cheap TVs, computers, etc...to get you in the door and spend more. There are usually limited amounts of these products, so don't be tempted to buy something (you don't need) just because you are there. It is always good to have a plan and a list! :)
