Over the last few months, I have been contemplating what to do with my blog. I do love it and I love sharing deals, but my time just doesn't allow me, myself, and I to keep it running at the pace a coupon blog needs. I am now going to be blogging over at Fabulessly Frugal! Fabulessly Frugal posts for Rite Aid, Walgreens, CVS, Target, Walmart, Winco, Albertsons, Fred Meyer, and Smiths, as well as Amazon.com. They also post for Safeway and Kmart and I will be their store experts for Safeway and Kmart! It is an exciting opportunity and I am honored to be blogging with such a great team. I will still be making very periodic posts for product reviews, but the majority of my blogging will be focused on Fabulessly Frugal!

Dear Safeway, I love you...

for your coupon booklets. Remember the awesome Holiday baking coupon book, well there is another great booklet out at Safeway, in celebration of Frozen Food Month: March. Be on the lookout for this one, it has some great manufacturer's coupons that you can use anywhere!

I am patiently waiting for the return of the fab CHILL promotion that Albertsons did last year (fingers crossed). Until then, check out my new freezer. I actually got this for Christmas, but I am hoping this will be the month that it gets filled up!

Fred Meyer Fuel Rewards

Have you noticed how long your Fred Meyer receipts is getting? That is because it now has the Fuel Rewards info on the bottom. You get one fuel point for every $1 that you spend, when you earn 100 points, you get 10 cents off per gallon when you visit participating Shell stations. Don't forget that Albertsons has a fuel reward program too...earn 5 cents off for every $50 that you spend. Safeway also offers 10 cents off for every $100 that you spend, and 3 cents off everyday with your card.

'Tis the Season

for coupon books! Keep your eyes peeled for these coupons. I found the Stove Top one on an end cap in Fred Meyer, the Nabisco one on the entrance display in Albertsons, and the Safeway one at customer service at Safeway. The Thanksgiving Coupon Book (at Safeway) has numerous high value coupons for several holiday baking items, including several that pair well with Albertsons this week.

• $1/2 Progresso Soups
• $1/2 Ziploc Bags
• $1/2 Wish Bone Salad Dressings
• $1/4 canned Green Giant Veggies (makes these 19 cents each!!)
• $1/2 Pillsbury Crescents
• $1/2 Pillsbury Cookies
• $1.50/1 McCormick Vanilla Extract

*As always, remember to be a courteous couponer and take only 1 or 2 (depending on availability) so everyone can have a chance for the savings!

Gas Rewards

As summer and gas prices hikes creep up on us, I was reminded of how great gas rewards are. Many people don't even know they exist or forget to use them, so here is a summary of what the stores offer.

1. Albertsons: 5 cents off per gallon for every $50 you spend. Your receipt will give you a update on how much you have earned. Then go to the Albertsons gas station and give them your rewards card (or your rewards card number). The amount off per gallon will automatically be taken off your total! (limit of 20 gallons and rewards expire after 30 days)
2. Safeway: 3 cents off per gallon everyday with club card. (no purchase necessary)
3. Fred Meyer: 3 cents off per gallon everyday, 10 cents off per gallon when you spend $100 and 15 cents off per gallon when you use your Fred Meyer Rewards MasterCard. Totals on receipt, give card to collect rewards. Wish our Fred Meyer had a gas station too :(
4. fuelmeup is a website that will show you the 10 best prices on gas for your zip code or where you are travelling.

Safeway/Kohls deal

I don't usually blog about Safeway deals, because I don't usually go there. (It is the most expensive and farthest away for me.) However, frugal living NW has a great post about several overlapping catalinas for this weekend, including earning Kohls cash. I don't have a Kohls near me, but it sounds like a good deal if you do. It is complicated and definitely advanced, but check it out if you are interested.
