Kmart Doubles

Kmart is doubling coupons, up to $2, everyday this week...the rules

1. Must have ShopYour Way Rewards Card
2. First 5 coupons will be doubled
3. Total before coupons must reach $25

They also have a P&G promotion running this week, buy $35 worth of P&G, get $10 coupon to use week of 3/6-3/11. Here is my transaction:

1. Charmin $6.99, used $1/1 from P&G home mailer=$4.99
2. Bounty $6.99, used $1/1 from P&G home mailer=$4.99
3. Tide $8.99, use $1/1 from P&G home mailer=$6.99

I used my $5 gift card from previous diaper deal and my $14.40 gift card from new prescriptions. So I only paid $15.92 for all of this and I got a $10 catalina! Both of these promos run through Saturday.

Kmart Round 4

Today's deal: spent $5 will get back $10 Mastercard and a free magazine subscription. The breakdown.

Olympics P&G Sweeps

I heart the Olympics, so I am especially excited about this! P & G is having a sweepstakes over on facebook. (Go here to enter and for more info) You can enter 5 times by becoming a fan of Secret, Olay, Venus, Pantene, and CoverGirl. Every time a US Olympian wins a medal, they will draw a name to receive a prize basket of these products for a year ($300 value). What a fun way to cheer on the US team and it only takes a second to enter! Good Luck!

Albertsons

So I have been waiting for the new Albies ad, because we have been 5 days without any sales...that is forever in coupon land. I even went and bought the liberal granola-y paper today hoping to get the ad early, which is was not in. So finally I got it and big disappointment. There are no fantastic promos or freebies or double coupons. Apparently, they want to promote Red Box though because there are 3 ways to get free codes. I don't know about you, but I would much rather have catalinas then Red Box codes.

Not the best prices ever and the P&G coupons are sometimes skimpy, other than the b1 get something free ones. You will get much higher P&G coupons in the mail or in package inserts. If you are going to do this promo, look for $15 coupon booklets in some specially marked packages. (I have seen them on Pampers and Tampax recently) I might have some coupons for Cascade and paper towels (from mailings) that I will use to stock-up. For more matchups check out a thrifty mom
