Albertsons Catalinas!

I still got it! I was beginning to wonder if I would ever see Albertsons again...but last night I got to escape for an hour to go shopping! Anyway, I got $3 Quaker cat, $2.50 Nature Valley cat, and the cat for free water (24 pack, up to $4.50...in my past experience, these kind of coupons will just automatically deduct $4.50, even if the water is priced for less.) If you do this deal, you might want to hold on to the free water catalina for this catalina:

I did two transactions, because on the first one I was $7 short to get my Resolutions Rewards. I guess the Wellness discount threw me off because I thought my total was enough. The diapers weren't on any great sale, but we needed them and I get them 20% off with Wellness, plus the qualifies for Resolutions Rewards. It was okay though, because I got some more free toilet paper (limit is 3 now, not 1) and money maker snacks and pens.

A Full Cup 30 day Challenge

I realize I am a little obsessed with contests right now...I just am little housebound with my newborn, so the computer is my outlet! I found a fun 30 day challenge though over at a full cup.

I have talked before about a full cup. It is the most comprehensive coupon search site I have found. They also have ads posted and forums with current deals. Right now they are having a 30 day challenge. Every day a new challenge will pop up (today's challenge is to "like" a full cup on facebook). Once you have completed that challenge, you go back and post a comment on that day's forum about it. You can participate in as many or as few challenges as you like. Garnier/Cosmo Giveaway!

Back in October I entered a short essay contest sponsored by Cosmopolitan and Garnier. I had to tell in 100 words or less why I would like to try Garnier Sleek and Shine Blow Dry Perfector. Well, that was simple, I have four kids, no time, frizzy hair, and I live in a humid climate. Anyway, I was chosen and I received this in the mail to share with friends! I also tried and reviewed the product.

My hair before...no styler or anything done to it, basically wash and wear.

Same day, after using the product. It is a chemical product that you put in your hair, leave for 20 minutes then rinse out. The sleekness is supposed to last for seven washes (I usually wash my hair every other day, it seems to work better that way).

Today, after 7 washes, still pretty straight. I also tried to wear my hair wavy with the product (following the directions). It worked the first day, but the second day, it was BIG and frizzy. I liked this product although it was still time consuming, but I will definitely try this product again sometime.
