Deals of the week!!

Just picked up my Tuesday paper and besides some great deals at Albertsons next week, there are tons of great deals tomorrow, Veterans Day!! Some Fred Meyer coupons caught my eye,
*Save $5 on any pair of shoes $14.99 and up
*Save $5 on any apparel $14.99 and up
*Take an Extra 15% off apparel, shoes & accessories, no limit and may be combined with above two coupons. These are good only from 7 AM-1PM. You should be able to get these coupons in store at customer service.
*Also at Fred Meyer spend $150 (on most anything, some exclusions) get a free turkey with coupon. This coupon is actually in the paper, not an insert. $150 is a lot to spend, especially now that you are a coupon diva, but if you are hosting Thanksgiving or needing to really stock up, there is an extra incentive for you. Offer good through Saturday.

*Macys also has a 15% off coupon here to go with their sale through tomorrow.

*JC Penney-pick up an extra savings card at any register to reveal your discount, either an extra 15, 20, or 30% off. Offer good through Saturday.

*Albertsons, good until next Tuesday. The loss leader of the year...Buy one Sara Lee Pie ($6.39) and get another Sara Lee Pie AND 2 Breyers Ice Creams FREE!! But, it gets better...there are coupons for both items and since you are "buying" four items, you can use four manufacturers coupons. Redplum.com (sidebar) has the Sara Lee coupon, and 10/18 RP has the 0.75 off Breyers. Go early to get the good kinds of pie and ice cream. They will go fast...best of all there is NO LIMIT! (Don't go crazy though...) I am assuming that means they are well stocked, but you never know. Last year I ended up with pumpkin and vanilla, good but not my first choice of flavors. :)
Please check out a thrifty mom and the krazy coupon lady for all the coupon links. There are some good Albertsons coupons to stack with manufacturers coupons.

No, I am not hitting all these deals and no I am not shopping all day tomorrow. :) I plan on going to the parade and honoring our veterans. Happy Veteran's Day!

Deal of the Week

Well, for those of you sad about Albertsons in Utah, you aren't missing anything this week...blah! I might skip it all together. To be fair, there are some good meat coupons in the ad, I just have a freezer full, so they don't get me excited. Utah shoppers check out these blogs to find some posts for your area http://www.utahdealdiva.com/ and the grocery gathering (on sidebar). Hopefully, you can find some new blogs for your favorites stores. I have also heard that since Albertson's is becoming an Associated Food store and lots of areas already have these, you might be getting more Smiths (Krogers) in. I hope whatever happens it works out for you. *I did hear that Utah Albertsons are marking a lot of their own store brand down to 50% off, so there is a bargain for you Utah shoppers. (Thanks Nicole)

There are a couple of deals I did want to share though. First Rite Aid has a Huggies diaper deal. This one goes for three months. It is buy five packs, get a coupon (in the mail) for a free pack. It works the same as their other rebates as far as entering them in the computer. You don't have to get them all at once, you can space it out however you want during the three months (including when it is included in other promotions). They are on sale for $8.99 this week and there are new Huggies coupons on coupons.com (sidebar).

With Trunk or Treats, Trick or Treats, plus just snacking...:) I wanted to pass on a few candy coupons so you can get some deals on your candy. freebies 4 mom has a link to some printable coupons.
In the last few inserts: 9/27 & 10/11 RP $1.50 on any 3 bags of Mars brands candy
9/27 SS $1.00 of any 3 Hershey's, Reese's or Kit Kat
10/18 SS Free Bag when you Buy 3 Hershey's, Reese's or Kit Kat. Right now Rite Aid has these priced for $1.99/bag
These coupons all expire 10/31/09, how very tricky, so try to find a good deal in the next couple of weeks for your little treaters.

*Be sure to check back on Saturday, I have a surprise for you.

Deals of the week

This is it! According to fabulessly frugal, the Quaker sale is back at Albertsons, Wednesday through Tuesday. This is the best prices of the year on Quaker cereal and oatmeal (even without coupons).I am excited since my kids love instant oatmeal. There really is a difference between store brand and Quaker too. The deal is buy ten products (priced at either $1.50 or $2) and get $5 off instantly at the register. Fabulessly frugal and the krazy coupon lady have the coupon matchups.

Another great find this week is the 30 days of beauty sweepstakes that I read about in O and Harper's Bazaar. It is a daily sweepstakes for the month of October. Everyday there is a high end beauty prize they are giving away. I have won some great prizes in sweepstakes, including $5,000, a Amazon Kindle, and lots of gifts cards/coupons. Just click on the link and fill in the form. Make sure you check no on the magazine offers (already defaulted to no). You might also want to set up a "junk" email account if you are going to be entering lots of sweepstakes or getting lots of freebies so you are getting lots of unwanted emails in your regular account.

Deals of the week

I don't see any great deals or promotions at Albertsons. Hopefully they will release another $3 off $30 coupon or something this weekend. Then the promos will be more worth your time.

Check to see if your local KMart is doubling coupons this week (Oregon is not included). This is a great opportunity to get some free or cheap things. If they are, read hip 2 save for some awesome scenarios, including another Huggies diaper deal.

Deal of the Week

Through Saturday, you can get a great deal on Huggies diapers at Rite Aid. Here is the breakdown. Buy three packs (priced at $11 each) and get a $10 rebate. But...there is an extra rebate program going on right now. Check out the Gift of Saving Promotion. So this diaper purchase, will also qualify you for a additional $5 Rite Aid Gift card. So let's get started, choose your level of expertise.

A) Beginner (no coupons needed)
1) Sign-up at Single Check Rebates (this also signs up you up for the gift of savings)
2) Go to any Rite Aid and purchase any 3 Jumbo packs of Huggies Diapers/Pullups/Goodnites
3) Enter your receipt online on the Single Check Rebate page. An email will be sent to you when your rebate is approved. It will also automatically add your receipt to the gift of savings program.
4) At the end of the rebate period (9/26) request your check.
You spend $33 and get $10 check and $5 gift card back, so you spent $18 on three packs of diapers.

B) Intermediate (with coupons)
1) Sign-up at Single Check Rebates
2) Go to Rite Aid and make your diaper purchase.
Use three Huggies manufacturer coupons that you may have. Here are some links if you need some:
$2 of any Huggies product (you can print this twice)
$2 off overnights (also can print twice)
And a Rite Aid coupon
$5 off $25 purchase at Rite Aid
3) Enter your receipts online.
4)At the end of the rebate period (9/26) request your check.
Spend between $21-24 dollars, depending on coupons, and get back $10 check and $5 gift card, so you spent around $12 for three packs of diapers.

C) Advanced: Repeat steps 1-4 of the intermediate level, then save your receipt and send it with at least two other Huggies diaper receipts to Care Givers Marketplace They will send you a rebate check for $.75 per pack of diapers.
So around $9.75 for three packs of diapers.

* A few things to remember with Rite Aid Rebates. You can do this and most rebates only one time. You also can only request your monthly check once, so make sure all your receipts are entered before you request it. (Make sure you are on the log in page for the Single Check Rebates and not just the Rite Aid log in.) Also the total for the gift of savings program is BEFORE all coupons and rebates, so that means all of the $33 will go towards the program.
