August Monthly Deals

August is here and so are some deals, here is what you can find on sale this month.

1. Air conditioners, lawn mowers, and yard equipment, they will go on sale to make room for fall items.
2. Back to school: fall fashions, school supplies and computers. Lots of great deals here and a good time to stock up on art & craft supplies for the whole year. Be sure you get the supply list from the school though, because some schools require specific brands and sizes.
3. Camping equipment, deep discounts just before labor day!

July deals

July, already! Today I was freezing again, so it is hard to imagine. Here are the deals to look out for in July:

• Gym membership, rates drop as gyms try to meet their mid year quota.
• Furniture
• Summer clothes start to hit the clearance racks
• Towards the end of the month, school supply deals will start, depressing I know, but a good way to stock up on office and art supplies.

June deals

I refuse to wear hoodies and turn on the heater in JUNE, but I have been wrapped up in a blanket all day being depressed at the gray sky...so even though the calendar says June, it doesn't feel a bit like summer. :( Here are the deals to watch for in June.

1. Swimsuits and summer wear, prices drop and clearance starts! (hard to believe I know)
2. Lingerie, Victoria's Secret also has their semi-annual sale!
3. Tools, deep discounts on these Dad and grad favorites!
4. It's is Dairy Month, look for dairy deals, including the great catalina promo at Albertsons right now.

May deals

I can't believe it is May already! I wish it felt more like spring. Some deals in May are:

1. Picnic supplies/BBQ supplies/outdoor furniture: welcome to the start of summer. Watch for high value coupons and sales on BBQ staples.
2. Athletic apparel: sneakers go on closeout before the new models come in.
3. Cookware: Mother's Day and the beginning of wedding season bring deals on kitchen basics!
4. Also Memorial Day Sales, one of the biggest sale weekends! Look for sales on your favorite stores and that something special you have been saving up for!

April Deals

Wow, it is already April. I wish Mother Nature would realize and let me wear something besides boots and sweaters, which brings me to the deals!

• Warm weather clothes: Spring fashions begin to move to sale and clearance racks this month. Look for great sales, like the recent one at Macys!
• Digital cameras: On sale again as families gear up for spring break and summer trips.
• Easter clearance: starting on Monday, Easter candy, baskets, and decor should be clearanced. Stock up for next year or get some deals on spring decor!

March deals

Here are the things to look for in March.

1. Winter gear, clothing, coats, boots, and equipment are going to be clearance to make room for the new spring items.
2. It is freezer month at the grocery store! March is the best time to pack up your freezer. Look for great deals on frozen foods. Albertsons Chill catalina this week is a great example. I will blog about it shortly.

Monthly Deals: February

Things you can get on a good deal in February:

• Electronics: the new models of MP3s, DVDs, and digital cameras are released. Take this chance to save on last year's models.
• Fragrances: just in time for Valentine's Day, cheaper fragrances.
• Humidifiers
• Candy (look for great deals on candy and flowers the day AFTER Valentine's)
• President's Day Sales!

January deals

What goes on sale in January?

• HDTVs, especially right around the Super Bowl.
• Also with the Super Bowl, watch for deals on snacking/party foods.
• Fitness Equipment to help you meet your New Year's Resolution.
• Christmas paper/decorations (what is left) will be slashed 75-90% at many stores.
• White Sales: linens, bedding, and towels, Macy's and JCPenney have large sales.

Monthly deals: December

What is a good deal this month? December is the best time to buy
*toys and electronics
*new-model cars-dealerships want to meet end of year goals
*homes-the best time to the year to buy is between Christmas and New Year's. Owners are usually in a generous mood through the holidays and also want to close the deal before the new year.

November deals

What can you get cheap in November?
*For starters, Halloween candy and decorations should go on sale soon and continue until about mid month. It is also a great time to buy costume to use as dress-up. Last year I bought my son a knight and firefighter costume for $3 each and they have been favorites. You might have a wait a couple weeks to get rock bottom prices, but patience will pay off.

*Wedding dresses are cheap now. This is the time stores clear out their inventory and the boutiques are less busy, so maybe you will score an additional discount.

*Let's not forget BLACK FRIDAY! This is an ideal time to buy stereos, TVs, and clothing. This is one of my favorite shopping days of the year! I am thinking this year the stores will have some pretty great deals to try and get you in the door. Do you brave the crowds to get outrageous deals? October deals

Did you know certain times of the year are the "best" times to buy certain products? Here are October's deals:
