Friday Food for Thought

A few days ago, I got an automated call from Fresh Express/Fred Meyer letting me know that the salad I purchase in May had been recalled for possible Salmonella. If I would return the product, I could get a full refund. These salads were dated 5/11-5/13 and I got the call on 5/25! So here are my two questions: 1) What do you want me to do now, since I have ate the salad like 3 weeks ago? (no sickness noted, thankfully) and 2) If I did still have the salad, I am pretty sure that it would indeed have Salmonella, as well as several other nasty things. Do you really want the rotting bags of slime brought back to the store? I know they have to report these things, I just found it comical.
